Rimini city skyline

Overview

Rimini is Italy's great seaside city, fifteen kilometers of sand, hundreds of beach clubs, and a summer that roars. For three months a year it is one of the busiest, liveliest resorts in Europe, packed with sunseekers, music, and nightlife. Then the crowds leave, and a different Rimini appears: a calm, affordable, surprisingly historic working city of about 150,000 that gets on with ordinary life. It was a Roman town before it was a beach, and it was Federico Fellini's hometown, and both still shape its character.
